I don't think I've said the word "ambulance" in 6 months. I just used it in conversation and I botched it. My old ways of thinking took over and I said something that sounded like "am-blee-ence." Crap. This isn't the first word I've slaughtered. I still have to pause in conversation before I say "certificate" or it comes out "cer-tick-a-fit" every time.
It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one. My buddy Jig says "ver-ner-bull." It's "vulnerable", Jig. "Vulnerable."
