Diagnosis of Biblical Proportions

This sentence is a caveat for possible seriousness following.

In the war room at Blahg HQ, questions arose which I'll parrot here:
1. If humans are evolving, are children genetically more similar to their parents than 1,000 years ago? In the future will kids look like exact clones of their parents?
2. Given our modern legal classifications of mental disorders in criminals, would Biblical 'tyrants' be found 'not guilty' by a modern jury? Was Pharaoh evil or did he just have a relatively underdeveloped ventromedial prefrontal cortex?

An update from the freezer. For you new members of the Community of Blahg-lievers, my summer job is at BlueBell Creameries, throwing boxes of ice cream for hours in a -20 degree vault. The type of person that would make a career out of such circumstances is, to say the least, unique. In other words, everyone* I work with is a wack-job. Exposure to these circumstances** is, however, beneficial because I get free product, which is preferable to the alternative...not free product.
