It's been a 'coon's age since I had enough time to say things like "'coon's age." After safely returning from Arlington and the Allen-Hardie nuptials, I feel blessed to have safely returned from Arlington and the Allen-Hardie nuptials. Ok, I'll quit.
Transition
My senior year in high school ('02), my mom gave me a ring with a cross on it. It was supposed to repel Vampires, but history would show it had that precise effect on females. I have skinny fingers, so metacarpal selection was limited. I chose the middle finger on my right hand; the most robust of my phalanges.
This Christmas break, I was looking at some pictures and I noticed a curious phenomenon. That ring has been migrating. It's nearly impossible to see, but take my word for it, in the photo below(circa 2003), the ring is on my right middle finger. I'm in blue:
Now notice the following picture (circa 2005) where the ring has inexplicably migrated to my right ring finger. I'm in the fro:
Now notice in the photo below (circa mid 2007) where the ring has traversed my whole wingspan and is now on my left hand, middle finger:
Maybe everyone does this with jewelry.
