Missed her noof ord

Dear Mr. New Ford,
I was there when for months you came to the morning coffee shop in your plain white '97 Ford F150 pickup.  Two wheel drive, single cab, long bed, rusty front left fender.  I was there to see you didn't have keyless entry so every day after you bought your coffee you set it on the roof while you unlocked the door.  I was there when you pulled in too fast, hit the curb hard, then got out and cussed after seeing the new dent in the old bumper.  I was there when you talked slowly every day, no energy in your voice.  I was there.
And I'm here today when you pull in with your new Ford.  '09 F150 King Ranch Edition.  Four wheel drive, crew cab, two-tone maroon and tan paint scheme, 20 inch alloys.  I'm here when you get out and hit the button on the keyless system 4 times.  I'm here when you strut in and order a grande instead of the usual tall, with an extra shot of pride.  And I know, more than most, where you've been.  I know your struggle and your victory.  I know you Mr. New Ford.
