To the dismay of 1090 inebriated* fans at the Austin Convention Center, our Colorado 14ers matadored the Austin Toros right in the grill last night, 118-104. Elton Brown went for 23 and 12 while Eddie Gill put up 18 and 7 including a perfect 11 for 11 from the gimme stripe. Game 2 tonight.

On January 4th, the NBA suspended Knicks Forward Zach Randolph for throwing his headband at a referee during a game. I've done some research on headbands. They're cloth and squishy. If you think the League's actions were too strict, perhaps you think they could take a note from the French. The French bank Société Générale recently uncovered some minor fraud performed by one of their traders which added up to $7 billion and change. The punitive action:
"The bank said the fraudulent positions had been closed and the trader suspended."
If $7 billion gets you suspended, what gets you fired? Who's in for a trip to France?

Camping Season
Friday | Saturday |
| 38° F | 27° F | 46° F | 25° F |
| Ice Pellets 60% chance of precipitation | Partly Cloudy |
Not sure who decided this would be a good time to be an outdoors man. This weather report for Lake Belton, Texas was what we dealt with on the first ever Ninja Camping Trip. 336 miles, 1 sprained ankle, 9 smoke inhalation headaches, 1 burn ban violation, and 1 salty Chinese buffet later, I can finally feel the frostbite receding from my fingertips. As much as I love waking up with ice on my pillow, I'm glad to be back.

After being down 13 points at half, our Colorado 14ers orchestrated a sickwicked comeback scoring an amazing 75 second-half points to rally past the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Monday night. Now 13-9, the 14ers roll into Austin for a double-header Wednesday and Thursday against the division best Toros who stand 2.5 games ahead. Exciting stuff Blahglievers.

Partnership Tuesday
If you aren't frequenters of Running Down a Dream, you should be. If you are, you know of the polarizing subject that is Liverpool FC. Endorsing an obscure sports franchise has so brilliantly divided their audience, why not irritate our audience with a similar move?
After successful negotiations by our Senior Ombudsman, I'm proud to announce the Blahg's newest* Corporate Partner the Colorado 49ers. Currently the first runners up in the southwest division of the NBA Developmental League, the 49ers are thrilled to receive the Blahg's Official Endorsement, joining current Partners the Old Stacians Cricket Club and the Pakistan Cricket Club. Big things poppin'.
